Hyperbaric chambers for home use — hard-shell or soft, and what to check first.
At home, the route into the room and the floor decide more than the model. ORION COMPACT (1,450 × 830 × 1,450 mm on wheels, about 500 kg) was developed for apartments reached by elevator; LUMEN reduces to a 770 mm central body for narrow routes. Where a chamber of several hundred kilograms is not realistic, the soft chambers — REST, DRIFT and COVE at 1.2–1.5 ATA, 30–50 kg plus an 85 kg all-in-one unit — are far easier to place.

What to plan
The questions that decide the model.
The route in
Measure every door, turn, stair and lift on the way to the room. Documented hard-shell widths start at 770 mm (LUMEN central body) and 830 mm (ORION COMPACT).
The floor
Hard-shell chambers weigh about 500–1,185 kg excluding the main unit. On upper floors, check floor loading with a structural engineer or building manager.
Power
A dedicated circuit: 20 A at 110 V / 60 Hz or 8 A at 220 V / 50 Hz for the standard 10L system. Soft chambers run from an 85 kg all-in-one unit rated 1,500 W.
Noise and space
Plan space for the separate main unit and its service clearances; LUMEN is documented at about 55 dB inside and 65 dB outside.
Who installs
You arrange unloading and moving indoors; we provide drawings and remote guidance. Factory assembly can be agreed as a paid service.
Rules in your country
Requirements for owning and using a hyperbaric chamber at home vary by country. SkelundTech makes no medical claims.

Questions from home use.
Which hard-shell chamber is easiest to get into a home?
ORION COMPACT, developed for elevator access on wheels, or LUMEN where the side modules can be removed for a 770 mm central body. ARC's side glass removes for 860 mm.
Are soft chambers really that much easier?
Yes in handling terms: the chamber weighs 30–50 kg plus an 85 kg all-in-one unit, against 500–1,185 kg for a hard-shell chamber. They operate at 1.2–1.5 ATA rather than 2.0 ATA.
Can I see the chamber before buying?
Factory visits in Zhuji, China are welcome by appointment. We also publish factory photographs, videos and customer delivery cases.
