FAQ

Company

Is SkelundTech a manufacturer or a reseller?

A manufacturer. SkelundTech designs and builds its chambers in its own factory in Zhuji, Zhejiang Province, China: design and engineering, shell fabrication and welding, main units and control systems, assembly and testing are done in-house. Factory visits are by appointment. See the factory.

Can I order a single chamber?

Yes. Single chambers can be ordered, and a single unit can be customized. Design and development fees for custom work are quoted per project.

How long does it take?

Soft chambers ship about 10 days after order confirmation; hard-shell chambers about 30 days (some configurations about 10). Sea freight: about 20 days to the US West Coast, 25 to Oceania, 35 to the US East Coast or Europe. Payment is a 70% deposit and 30% before shipment. Lead times and shipping map.

Which certificates do you hold?

The factory entity behind SkelundTech holds an ISO 13485 certificate for the design, production and sales of commercial hyperbaric oxygen chambers — a quality management system certificate, not a product approval. EMC, LVD and RoHS conformity documents and a pressure-vessel type-test report cover the model samples each one lists. Copies are shared on request.

FAQ

Choosing a model

What is the difference between hard-shell and soft chambers?

Our hard-shell chambers operate at 2.0 ATA, use a rigid steel shell with a separate all-in-one main unit, and are installed in one place. Our soft chambers operate at 1.2–1.5 ATA; the chamber weighs 30–50 kg plus an 85 kg all-in-one unit. Hard-shell vs soft, in detail.

How do I know whether a chamber will reach my room?

Start with the documented widths: 770 mm for LUMEN with its side modules removed, 830 mm for ORION COMPACT, 860 mm for ARC with its side glass removed, 880 mm for ORION and 1,400 mm for VISTA. These are body widths, not doorway clearances. Send us the narrowest openings, heights, turns, stairs and lifts on your route and our engineers review it with the chamber drawings before you order.

What is the difference between VISTA and LUMEN?

Same external dimensions (1,850 × 1,400 × 2,000 mm) and the same 2.0 ATA platform. VISTA is one integrated body for one or two people; LUMEN is single-person and modular — its side modules come off for a 770 mm central body — and offers an illuminated door that VISTA does not. VISTA weighs about 860 kg, LUMEN about 1,000 kg.

Which models offer three-panel infrared or an illuminated door?

Three-panel infrared: LUMEN and VISTA. Illuminated door: LUMEN and ORION. Single and dual infrared, 20L + BIBS, pulse oximeter and negative-ion unit are optional on all five models.

FAQ

Specifications

What does “93% ± 3%” oxygen mean?

It is the oxygen concentration at the concentrator supply — the figure on our specifications. It is not the oxygen level at a BIBS mask, and not the oxygen level of the air inside the pressurized chamber.

What power supply does a hard-shell chamber need?

With the standard 10L all-in-one system: 2,000 W, 20 A at 110 V / 60 Hz, or 1,500 W, 8 A at 220 V / 50 Hz. With the optional 20L system and BIBS: 2,700 W, 25 A at 110 V, or 2,500 W, 13 A at 220 V. A local electrician plans a dedicated circuit.

What is BIBS?

Built-In Breathing System: a mask with an oxygen line in and an exhaust line out, so the user breathes the supply directly while exhaled air leaves the chamber. On SkelundTech chambers it comes with the optional 20L all-in-one unit and switches to standard mode with one switch.

How heavy are the chambers?

Hard-shell: about 500 kg (ORION COMPACT), 720 kg (ARC), 860 kg (VISTA), 1,000 kg (LUMEN) and 1,185 kg (ORION), excluding the main unit and packaging. Soft: 30–50 kg plus an 85 kg all-in-one unit.

FAQ

Ordering, delivery and support

Do you publish prices?

No. Each chamber is configured and shipped to a specific destination, so quotations are prepared per project and confirmed by our sales team.

Do you deliver and install?

Chambers ship from China in export crating. For the US and Australia we can quote door delivery including taxes. You arrange unloading, moving indoors and site readiness; we provide assembly drawings and remote guidance, and factory assembly can be agreed as a paid service.

What warranty applies?

SkelundTech's company warranty policy is two years; scope, conditions and start date are set in your contract. Support is remote from the factory team.

Can I visit the factory?

Yes, by appointment. The factory and office are in Zhuji, Zhejiang Province, China. Contact us on WhatsApp or by email to arrange a date.

Can I order my own colour or brand?

Black, white, dark grey and light grey are the standard shell colours; any of the 216 RAL Classic colours can be ordered, and two-tone designs on request. Your logo and private-label (OEM / ODM) projects are confirmed with your order, including single units. Colours, walls and seats.
